BFIRM Halloween Monster Dash

Halloween is coming to B.FIRM with something spooky, something goooey, something giant and a whole lot of obstacle fun! Your kiddos can join in for up to 3 hours of fun, making their way around over 80 obstacles and mud lanes at their own pace! B.FIRM have their Battle Ninjas on course to assist and spook along the way. Open to all ages, with finisher medals for the kids.

Howl-oween Dog Costume Paw-ty

Get ready for a spook-tacular time with your furry friend at Stella’s Howl-oween Dog Costume Paw-ty! Community Halloween Movie Night

Come join in for a spooktacular evening at The Link at Ginninderry for their Community Halloween Movie Night! Grab your friends, family, and neighbours for a fang-tastic time watching classic Halloween movies under the stars. Don't forget to bring blankets, chairs, and snacks to enjoy during the movie. Costumes are encouraged but not required.

Halloween Twilight Market 

If you’re looking for a little visit out of town, head to Goulburn’s Halloween Twilight Markets for an evening of spooky fun. There will be lots of stalls selling Halloween-themed goodies, food vans, Halloween kids races, best-dressed costume prizes, lantern lighting, and lots more fun for the whole family.

Canberra's Halloween Fest

Get ready for Canberra's spookiest Halloween Fest for kids and adults, filled with haunted houses, costume contests, and trick-or-treating fun! Get yourself and the kiddos in their costumes and head to the Patrick White Lawns for tons of candy, a kids zone, trick or treat, dancing, games, ghost parade, horror magic show, reptile show, cosplayers, spooky family photography, and prizes for best-dressed! This event is free to attend for kids aged 3 and below.

Halloween Play Session at GymbaROO Canberra

Get your little people dressed up in their best Halloween outfits and head along to play on Gymbaroo Canberra’s amazing obstacle course, packed full of ways for little ones to jump, run, climb, swing and bounce! Crawling babies up to 1 year of age can enjoy our separate dedicated baby space filled with sensory & vestibular play equipment designed for non-mobile & crawling babies. Open to both enrolled & unenrolled families, suitable for children from crawling up to 6 years of age.

National Zoo Spooktacular 2024 

The National Zoo and Aquarium’s Spooktacular is a family-friendly Halloween event presented by the NZA Conservation Team (NZACT) to help raise vital funds for wildlife conservation. This year, there will be frighteningly fun games, scary scavenger hunts, creepy crafts, a devilish dancefloor, wickedly wonderful treats and of course, endless candy! There will also be a very special Bent’Spook’ Bar (BentSpoke Brewing Co) for the adults and a free drink token (including soft drink or water) with every ticket! Every child will receive their very own Halloween gift bag to store their yummy treats - with a snack, drink and Halloween toys included! There will also be awesome prizes for best dressed, so make sure you dress up! All proceeds from Spooktacular will be donated directly to wildlife conservation programs.

Halloween cake decorating workshop

Join in on a fun and creative 1-hour Halloween cake decorating workshop! Each participant will receive a plain cake and all the tools you need to decorate it, including piping bags and a variety of edible decorations. You'll learn how to create beautiful, vintage style cake with step-by-step guidance. By the end of the session, you'll have your own unique cake to take home and enjoy. Workshops are open to everyone, including kids!

Featuring the Trick-or-Treat Lane, live entertainment (including a magic show, glow show & fire show), roaming performers, rides & games, plus spooky-themed food trucks & markets stalls.

Get ready for a spooktacular show this Halloween! Trick or Treat is a one-of-a-kind, halloween comedy experience where the audience holds the spectral reins of the play. Journey into the unknown as Lightbulb delivers their unscripted magic towards your chosen ending! Audiences are encouraged to join the fun and dress up in a boo-tifully spooky Halloween costume for every show! Suitable for ages 13+.

Halloween Disco at Lollipops

It's the most spooktacular time of year! Join in the fun at Lollipop's Playland’s Halloween Disco. Dress up and head on down for endless play, dancing, a visit from Lollipop the cat, free sweets, face painting, plus a best dressed competition.

Fright Fest

If you feel like heading to a beautiful historic village, then Bungendore’s Fright Fest is for you! Get ready for a spooky night filled with thrills and chills, with a haunted house, disco room, amazing performers, and games for the kids—a night of fun for the whole family!

Halloween Paws Party

A spooky celebration is creeping up at Haig Park! Dress your pets in their best Halloween costumes for a chance to win amazing prizes! All aboard for magic and mystery! Canberra Railway Museum, in collaboration with Quizzic Alley, is transforming the museum into the Wizards Express! Climb aboard the vintage carriages and feel immersed in the wonder and whimsy in a world of magic, spoil yourself in the Quizzic Alley gift shop, and head over to the picnic area for a snack and a sweet treat. Take part in some fun activities and win prizes!

Daineres Rainbow Halloween Trivia

Dainere’s Rainbow are working this October to 'Scare Brain Cancer Away'. On Sunday afternoon 27th they’re are holding a small spooktacular family friendly Trivia afternoon. The afternoon will include snacks and drinks (please note this is a no alcohol event). There will also be a lucky door and other prizes and a raffle on the day.
