Lollipops Playland is a Canberra-based locally owned and operated indoor play space for toddlers through to younger primary-aged kids. It has a range of well-maintained equipment for kids to burn off their energy. Because it’s indoors, it’s great for escaping the Canberra winter cold, or the stifling heat in summer. It is fenced off for kids’ safety, and has plenty of space for parents to relax with a coffee and a snack. Make sure you head to Lollipops if you're looking for a Canberra indoor play centre!

How do I find Lollipops Playland?

Lollipops Playland is at the Majura Park shopping centre. It is at the furthest end of the shopping centre, so if you’re entering from the Costco side of the car park, it’s best to park close to the furthest entrance. There is ample parking, and all surface areas are flat and pram friendly.

What will I find at Lollipops Playland?

Lollipops is one large play space that contains a range of activities for different age groups. If you’re bringing toddlers, there’s a dedicated fenced-off area called ‘Sea World’. It contains soft-fall play equipment, two small slides, some soft-fall rocking horses, and other things to crawl/climb/jump on that will keep toddlers busy. There’s also a separate ball pit, but it is mixed age, so smaller toddlers might need an adult with them during busier times.

If you’re bringing older kids, there’s a jumping castle, obstacle-type equipment, spaces to climb/jump/run, and a range of slides. There’s also an awesome teacup ride for kids (and adults who need to ride with little ones). There’s also some fun arcade games at the entrance (which need to be paid for separately).

As an added bonus, the large open windows facing out towards the airport mean that the kids can watch the planes flying past!

Lollipops is very open, meaning that parents can easily keep an eye on their kids no matter which section they’re in. Kids receive a security wristband upon entry, and there are gates at the entrance and exit, which is staffed at all times, so that kids are kept safe inside.

There are plenty of tables and chairs for when the kids need to have a rest. There's also a cafe that serves a range of food and drinks for kids and adults… and yes, there is coffee!

If you're looking for a Canberra indoor play centre that is safe for toddlers, preschoolers and young primary-aged kids, you can't look past Lollipops!

How to get to Lollipops Playland

  • By car: see details above on parking.

  • By bus: There is a bus route that runs through Majura and stops at IKEA, which is a few minutes’ walk from Majura Park. It runs nearly every half hour on weekdays, and every hour on weekends.
